So I dropped my phone in the toliet last night....which means I have no phone, for at least the time being. I am trying to solve this problem but some money issues are preventing a quick and easy solution...so at least for now email me if you need to talk to me...I will try and check it often. |

First week of training is done! WOOHOO! It was a lot of icebreakers, and Americorps knowledge I already had. And some fun games, community mapping (which I love doing) and waterproffing a basement in Braddock (anyone know how to get waterproofing stuff out of clothes? I leaned into the wall...oops) Next week is learning how to teach adults, and on-site orientation. |

So yesterday was apartment problem day. 1. I foud maggots in our apartment...very very very gross. 2. The game cube is no longer working :( very very very sad. So now we came over to Stacie and Adam's to grab stuff and use their iternet and we are sitting and playing Animal Crossing since we have no game cube. |

I am leaving for the Greenfield apartment...where I will really stay until everything is packed and cleaned. So I am most likely spending the night there and hanging out until the U-Haul is packed tomorrow. So if you are bored stop by or call. I am sure without a TV or the internet I will need company :-P |

So this was going to be a long post but I realized I don't really feel like writing, basically I am inside my head lately and not very social, it seems like all the upheavel of the past few months has decided to hit me at once and now I am just trying to sort everything out. It is also moving week, and moving stresses me out, so by avoiding social situations I avoid being cranky and snapping at people. So I am sorry if I have been ignoring people lately, and I promise to try to be better soon. |

Moving Announcment
Drea and I move on July 31st (out of the old apartments) and August 4th (into the new apartment). My job is to recruit a moving crew since Drea is taking care of paying for the truck. So if anyone feels like they can help either day please let me know. We really, really, need help Tuesday since my parents won't be able to come up that night and on Saturday we really need someone to drive the U-Haul since Drea will be out of town. |

Living with Stacie and Adam makes me play video games, now I want a game cube for my apartment so that we can have our own Animal Crossing town and Stacie and Adam can come and visit. I have a house in their town now....Wendy you need to come over and play because I tried to send you a letter and your mailbox is full. |

So I got back from my weekend at my parents house to an email that informed me that I only have a job until June 15th since the kid starts daycare the following monday. I am slightly stressed since I now have a monthto find a job....so if anyone knows of any let me know. |

So if you know me you probably know that I collect lists of books that people (anyone friends, teachers, random people from the internet) feel for any reason are worth reading. I have in the past few years slowly been making progress on reading these books, but I am not so great at it mostly because I am not so great at libraries and as much as I would like to buy them all I do not have infinite money. So today in my boredom playing on the internet I found a list of 1001 books to read before you die, that even divides the books into centuries. So I am going to start trying to work my way through. I am feeling blah, I feel like I am always feeling blah when I write here. Its really not that my life is that bad, its just that I don't feel the need to write when things are good. Maybe that should be one of my lenton promises, to share the good as much if not more than the bad. But yes blah today, so far the week has not been going as planned. Yesterday I slipped on some ice and twisted my knee which is not slightly swollen, and on the advice of my athlete little sister it is wrapped in tape and has had heat applied to it all night. It hurts a lot whenever I put weight on it. Because of the hurt knee I did not celebrate Fat Tuesday at all, I decided that the most indulgant thing I could do yesterday was really to come home and hang out on the couch with a book, some ice cream and the Gilmore Girls. Today I spilled four bottles of breast milk throughout the day (on three different occasions). I have also spilled (with help from the baby) some salad and a glass of root beer. In happy news: It seems like the popularity of my bumper sticker is increasing, I have seen it the past two days, on two cars that I had never seen before. Whenever I see it it makes me want to wait for the owner of the car and share with them that I have it as a tattoo. Yesterday Drea and I took the baby to the museum, which was a lot of fun. Yay for field trips with the kid! I have read a lot lately, and am making progress on my list of books to read before I die. Yesterday I finished "The Time Machine", today on the bus I finished "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and now I am halfway through "Daisy Miller". |
